Were you also able to receive a text message last June eight that had this content, or at least with a similar thought to this: catch the full, unexpurgated version of GMA’s abuse of power through election fraud in the inq7.net web page; the tape can also be downloaded on MP3 for massive dissemination starting tonight! Tape and send to all your friends including overseas Filipinos?
Or if not, I am certain that you catch the coverage about this very controversial ‘voice exposé’ issue on T.V. or heard it from the radio, or read it from newspapers. Then, I bet that until now you still have unanswered queries and comments in mind pertaining to what this issue is all about.
Perhaps, you were also able to ask yourself on the veracity of this recorded voice, who made this, why make like this, why does it have to be the people that’s going to suffer for all these banging issues raised by either the administration or opposition.
My point is that I don’t like the notion of being cheated, whether the government had it all or the opposition took the initiative to coming up to tricky voice records, still I don’t want to feel fooled. Well, we could have many interpretations about it. For one, we could infer that it is the opposition who works on this. If it be proven that the voice record involved the president to election fraud, then we could deduce that they don’t want GMA anymore to lead the country for the next five years simply because they cannot afford to have a bad president to run the government. On the other hand, it can be possible too that this issue is just made by the administration itself. It can be their tactic I suppose. Because they wanted to divert the people’s attention from the true big issue on GMA’s family’s jueteng involvement, they seek for another attention-catcher matter that would screw up people’s judgments on how the first family abuses their power as the head of the state. Plus of course, they crave for longer and bigger power, because if one is powerful, then he could be influential, if one is influential, it follows that he can have anything he wants within his reach.
There too, are a lot more requirements needed to be answered before we can validate such a recording to be authentic which involves some physical concerns about it – the timbre, pitch, tone of the speakers recorded, the atmosphere of the conversation, and a lot more. Based on these differences, we cal also formulate our own theories with regards to this matter.
The bottom line is that, like every other Filipino citizen, I too do not understand what the Arroyo Administration wants to happen to the government. I don’t know what its intentions are. I don’t know. But, I believe we people should be the ones defining our government, since we are the government. Let us not be slaves to few obnoxious people. We were once puppets before during the Japanese occupation; I hope time wont come that we become puppets under our own government.
