This little lad I know is a person who can indulge to different modes of situations. He is a person I know who can easily adapt to different settings, be it in times of bliss, in moments of your solitude or just by any instance that he happens to be with you.
One lazy afternoon he approached us while we were gathered for a talk with my close friends. I didn’t have any idea of what his intentions were to break the idle time we had before he came, and my companions also did not have any clue as to what this person was up to. All we thought was that he simply would drop by. But we all dazed in amazement when he cut the indolence of time. While he was approaching he pretended to act like models, commercial models for undergarments. And what he was doing was all ridiculous. It was an irony though because he was trying to brag his worn out brief. One, two, and pose and one, two and smile; and that went over for a while until we found ourselves amused by his peculiarities.
He is rubbish. Indeed. He can do anything and would do or risk any thing in exchange for an incentive. Because playing computer games is his main forte, he would accept to do things he unusually do, things he has not done yet before, in exchange for his favor, that is, to treat him to any computer shop (an hour will do). He loves to play computer games that he would rather have a Play Station 2 than getting a phone which by now is considered an essential tool for communication. He loves to play those cyber war games that he would rather not eat his lunch and would rather risk going home from school walking in quite a distance because he have already spent his allowance to engaging his self in those computer games. He is a kind of person who is ready to be scolded by his parents anytime they would caught him not doing well in his performance in class because he always busy himself to his futile passion of playing these stuffs.
Another instance, he would turn into a sort of adviser. At his young age, he always declares his ideas with conviction. He will do his best to make all the possible excuses for him to justify his stand. Though it may be irrational at times, he always insists that what he thinks is logical and that they don’t have any choice but accept his idea. But, oh, his ideas? They’re all petty ones. Most of those don’t make any sense at all. However, what makes his ideas interesting is the fact that he never detached humor on those. He is a very humorous person that one would not mind if what he is saying is essential or not. There is a thing called the “x factor” that only with his type has it. I don’t even know what it is or what it has in it. One thing is for sure, though, he makes everybody laugh. And yes it is true. He is a sort of entertainer and a clown in one, according to one of my cousins.
What impresses me with him, though, is the fact that he appreciates people’s potentials to be substantial and significant. For instance, he brags to people that his sister knows how to play skipping rope more than anyone else in their house because he himself does not know how to and that he would be very glad if he’ll be taught how to use it.
These are all small things, though, but these mean a lot to me. Why? Because this eccentric young boy is my brother. And though by time we get older, he will always be a brother so important to us all – he will always be our one and only palanggunngong in our lives.
